Elk Island Lodge is a family-run business and our years of living and working in the resort industry in Manitoba gives us an insight into what our guests expect... and deserve... on a fishing trip to God's Lake.  Situated in northern Manitoba, Canada, the cold, deep water of God's Lake harbors some truly spectacular fish.  Your visit to Elk Island Lodge will provide you with an excellent chance to land and release one of these "fish of a lifetime"!  At this remote fly in fishing lodge on Elk Island our staff is committed to your comfort and enjoyment 24 hours a day, seven days a week.   

We have fantastic world class fishing for Northern Pike, Walleye, Lake Trout and Brook Trout. The brook trout fishing is done at our fly-out on the famous God's River, just a short flight from our main lodge.  Elk Island Lodge is a historic log structure with a bar, a tackle shop, a pool table, a dining room overlooking the islands and bays of God's Lake and a fireside lounging area for your comfort and enjoyment.

The home cooked meals served in the lodge by courteous staff, coffee makers in every cabin, hot showers, electric carts for those who need assistance with walking, expert guides, and our own, private hard-packed airstrip create the type of holiday ambiance you will recall all year long.  In fact many guests reserve the next year's trip before they leave Elk Island Lodge!
